Description
<p>The name of this pampero is supposed to remind of the beginnings of the rum industry in Venezuela.<br>In 1938 the distillery 'La Industrias Pampero C.A.' was founded.<br>The main production facilities for this rum are located in Ocumare, central Venezuela.</p><p>It was created in 1963, on the 25th anniversary of the distillery.<br>«Pampero» literally means «violent storm».<br>It is aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels.</p><p><strong>Awards:</strong><br>World Best Rum in 2007 at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco<br>Gold medal in 2014 at the World Spirits Competition</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Deep dark amber with a copper shimmer.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Fruity notes, lemon, honey.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Soft, toasted aromas, candied citrus, honey.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting.</p>
