<p>The whisky distillery Old Raven is&nbsp;one of&nbsp;the pioneers in&nbsp;Austria.<br>The distillery is&nbsp;located in&nbsp;a&nbsp;former Hungarian customs house in&nbsp;the Lafnitz valley.<br>The water from the 98m deep «Rabenbrunnen» gives both the whisky and the in-house beer their unique taste.<br>«Charly», a&nbsp;tamed raven that watches over the barrels, is&nbsp;a&nbsp;legend in&nbsp;the history of&nbsp;the distillery even in&nbsp;his lifetime.<br>Old Raven is&nbsp;distilled 3 times, not cold filtered and also not coloured.</p><p>Only original casks from Spain and Kentucky were used for this Austrian single malt whisky.<br>After 6 years of&nbsp;storage it&nbsp;reached its final maturity in&nbsp;June 2012 and was packed in&nbsp;its noble cask.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>inviting, dried fruit, honey, nuts.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Subtle, oak wood.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, powerful.</p>
