<p>This rum is&nbsp;made from the fresh juice of&nbsp;Nkomazi sugar cane.<br>This sugar cane grows on&nbsp;the Mhoba Sugar Estate, near the small village of&nbsp;Malalane in&nbsp;South Africa.<br>It&nbsp;is&nbsp;matured in&nbsp;large glass balloons with toasted staves (long logs from barrels) made from American white oak.<br>This rum is&nbsp;then stored in&nbsp;former South African whisky casks for further maturation.</p><p>Filling is&nbsp;carried out without cooling filtration to&nbsp;maintain the natural character.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>sweet aromas, wood, smoke, caramel, vanilla, pepper.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Warm, butterscotch, coffee, chocolate, oak.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, oak, vanilla, cocoa.</p>
