<p>The independent bottler Oliver &amp; Oliver has specialised in&nbsp;rum from the Caribbean since 1874.<br>Among numerous other brands that Oliver &amp; Oliver have meanwhile published, Maximo is&nbsp;contemporary, chic and above all noble.</p><p>The Ron Maximo XO&nbsp;Extra Premium matures in&nbsp;oak barrels and is&nbsp;stored according to&nbsp;the well-known Solera method.<br>The bottle shows Máximo Gómez Báez.<br>Máximo was general of&nbsp;the Cuban wars of&nbsp;independence and is&nbsp;one of&nbsp;the most important leaders of&nbsp;this movement.<br>His austere but very generous and distinguished manner was used as&nbsp;a&nbsp;figurehead for the Ron Maximo XO&nbsp;Extra Premium Rum.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>dark amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Sweet, fruity, chocolate.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Sweet, chocolate, caramel, oak, dried fruit, vanilla, coffee beans.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, sweet, dry.</p>
