<p>Malteco 11 ans Triple 1 is an aged rum from Panama. It is bottled by the Italian brand Malteco.</p><p>This rum differs from traditional Spanish rums, in particular thanks to its raw material, which is not molasses but cane honey.<br>It is produced with a column at the Bodegas de America distillery.</p><p>This cuvée was aged for 11 years in American ex-bourbon oak barrels, in a temperate climate. It was then bottled at 55.5°. The name refers to this detail (triple 1 for 111 proof, i.e. 55.5°).</p>
