<p>Master Distiller Bill White selects only individually aged whiskey barrels from traditional American oak before blending them for further maturation in barrels previously used to make fortified Madeira wine.&nbsp;</p><p>The Madeira barrel finish enhances the fruity character of peach and pear with marzipan and nutmeg and gives a dry nuttiness to the long, oak finish.<br><br><strong>Nose</strong>:<br>Fresh orange leads to almond marzipan with nutmeg.<br><br><strong>Taste</strong>:<br>Velvety and soft on the tongue. Fruity character of peach and fig topped with lots of butterscotch and delicate walnut.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Finish</strong>:<br>Long finish, dry grape tannins and oak, long nutty.</p>
