<p>The Karukera Rhum owes its name to&nbsp;the people who gave the island the name 'Karukera', which means 'the island of&nbsp;beautiful waters'.<br>This is&nbsp;where Christopher Columbus first moored his fleet in&nbsp;November 1493.<br>This rum is&nbsp;produced in&nbsp;the oldest distillery on&nbsp;the island&nbsp;— the Hope Distillery.</p><p>It&nbsp;is&nbsp;aged for seven years in&nbsp;French Bourbon and Cognac barrels.</p><p>Limited to&nbsp;4997 bottles!</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> stone fruit, fruit, vanilla, citrus aromas.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Exotic aromas, dried fruit, cloves, nutmeg, almonds.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, sweet.</p>
