<p><strong>Rum Fire</strong> is a <strong>high ester white overproof rum</strong> from Jamaica's traditional <strong>Hampden Estate</strong> distillery. This rum is popular with bartenders all over the world, thanks to its distinctive taste and flammability.</p><p><strong>10-14 days of fermentation in the fresh air</strong> is not the only way Hampden promotes the growth of bacteria and the production of esters in their rum. The manufacturer also adds to the mixture the amount of rich-acid residue that remains in the distillation column from previous distillations. Finally, Rum Fire contains an incredible 500 to 570 ppm (parts per million) of ester and thus belongs to the LORK category.
