<p>The Glenfarclas distillery is located in Ballindalloch, Moray, Scotland and was founded in 1836. In 1865, it was sold to John Grant, whose descendants still own the distillery today.<br><br>Pure spring water, careful distillation and subsequent maturation in oloroso sherry casks give the 30-year-old Glenfarclas a balanced character.<br><br><strong>Awards:</strong><br>Double Gold in 2015 at the Stockholm Beer &amp; Whisky.<br>90/ Gold in 2013 at the China Whisky Awards.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Rich dark gold.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Complex, notes of fruit, sherry, malt.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Notes of sherry, cognac, brandy, fruit, nuts, marzipan.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, full-bodied, intense, chocolate.&nbsp;</p>
