<p>Hardly a&nbsp;soul is&nbsp;known that rum is&nbsp;distilled on&nbsp;the dreamlike Caribbean holiday island Antigua.<br>Already since the 1930s, the Antigua Distillery has been one of&nbsp;the rum hotspots on&nbsp;the island surrounded by&nbsp;coral reefs.<br>The immediate proximity to&nbsp;the sea has an&nbsp;effect on&nbsp;the raw materials and of&nbsp;course on&nbsp;the rum production.</p><p>This English Harbour Rum matures for 5 years in&nbsp;former Bourbon barrels made of&nbsp;American white oak and gets a&nbsp;finish in&nbsp;Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels afterwards.</p><p><strong>Bottled: </strong>December 2017</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> spices, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, wood notes.<br><strong>Flavour: </strong>sweet notes, toffee, orange marmalade, toasted notes, pepper, spices,<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting.</p>
