<h2>DOUBLE CASK 12 YEARS OLD</h2><p>A harmonious single malt with a warm character.</p><p>The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old forms part of our Double Cask range which marries the classic Macallan style and the unmistakable sweetness of American oak.&nbsp;</p><p>This is a fully rounded single malt in perfect balance, with flavours of honey, citrus and ginger.</p><h3>IN COLLABORATION WITH STEVE MCCURRY</h3><p>Steve McCurry has been one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than 30 years, with scores of magazine and book covers, over a dozen books, and countless exhibitions around the world to his name.<br><br>He followed our journey of The Macallan cask from its origins in the forests of America and Europe, through the cooperages and Bodegas of Spain, and to our distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Our skilled whisky making team optimise the right mix of European and American sherry seasoned oak casks to allow the delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak to take centre stage while the more traditional Macallan characteristics of rich fruits, sherry and wood spice provide a reassuringly familiar backdrop.</p>
