<p>The German city of Flensburg was once one of Europe's rum producers. As a port city and part of the Danish kingdom, it was a hub for trade with Caribbean colonies.<br><br>FRC Caribbean Rum is the successor to Flensburg Rum Company Barbados &amp; Jamaica Rum and is created by marrying two completely contrasting distillates.<br>Traditionally produced rum from Barbados is married with the rum from Jamaica, which has a strong character and high ester content, resulting in an extraordinary interplay.<br>The maturation takes place mainly in the Caribbean under tropical climate conditions for 5 years.&nbsp;</p><p>In Europe, the rum gets a short after-aging under continental climate.<br><br>Dosage: 17 g/l Sugar</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Color: amber.<br>Nose: Tropical fruits, coconuts, pastries, vanilla, wood notes.<br>Taste: Rich notes, tropical fruits, mangoes, papayas, oak, spices, coconuts, chocolate, vanilla.<br>Finish: Long lasting.</p>
