<p>At the end of the 1980s, the natural products chemist Petra Spamer-Riether travelled for more than 5 months to the Amazon region of Peru.&nbsp;</p><p>The young chemist was looking for medicinal plants for a scientific thesis.&nbsp;</p><p>The shamans of the Indian tribes living there drew her attention to the so-called Pusanga roots, at that time a love potion was developed there with it.&nbsp;</p><p>The Indian name for this plant is PUSSANGA.&nbsp;</p><p>25 years later Petra Spamer-Riether remembered this plant again and had the idea to produce a special spirit with it.&nbsp;</p><p>With the help of pomegranate, chili, ginger and cardamom and many other spices, this liqueur is produced since September 2013.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Awards:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Double Gold at the 2019 China Wine &amp; Spirits Awards</li><li>Gold at the World Spirits Awards 2017&nbsp;</li><li>Liqueur of the Year at the Berlin Intl.
