The Distillery WhistlePig was created from a farm that was acquired in 2007.
After a rebuild it could be opened in 2015.
Master Distiller Dave Pickerell designed especially for the distillery Copper Stills, which are now in use 7 days a week.
The goal of the distillery is to produce the best and finest rye whiskey in the world.

Rye in its origin, inspired by Old World barrel aging traditions.
This 12-year-old Rye Whiskey is a blend of whiskeys aged in New American Oak and refined in Port (7%), French Sauternes (30%) and Madeira barrels (63%).
The elements most important to an American rye — boldness and character — are fused with the elegance and grace of an 18-year-old Scotch.

Colour: Gold with amber accents.
Nose: caramel, vanilla, winter fruits.
Taste: Rye spice, apricots, plums, raisins, dates, honey.
Finish: Long lasting, dark chocolate, winter fruits, caramel, vanilla.
