Opis
The El Pasador de Oro XO Rum comes from the Central American country of Guatemala.
This rum is distilled on the mainland of Guatemala. Then the first phase of maturation takes place.
The wooden barrels with the distillate are stored for several years under the Caribbean sun.
Due to the relatively high temperatures, the maturation process is relatively fast.
The rum quickly absorbs a lot of aroma and character from the wood of the barrel.
Subsequently, this rum is subjected to a second maturation in the somewhat cooler France, for which former Cognac barrels are used.
Colour: Gold.
Nose: Sweet, notes of wood.
Taste: Cinnamon, coconut, raisins, exotic fruits.
Finish: Long lasting.
