Bally distillery was founded in&nbsp;Martinique by&nbsp;Frenchman Jacques Bally.<br>Martinique, also called the Jewel of&nbsp;the Caribbean, is&nbsp;part of&nbsp;the Lesser Antilles.<br>Golden sandy beaches, as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;lush green palm trees adorn the island metropolis.</p><p>J. Bally was one of&nbsp;the first distilleries in&nbsp;La&nbsp;Martinique to&nbsp;produce agricole rum from pure sugar cane.<br>In&nbsp;1917, company founder Jacques Bally had the idea of&nbsp;aging his rums in&nbsp;oak barrels.<br>This slow aging gives the rums the fine flavors.</p><p>The J.
