<p>The R74 Rum Alpine Aged is made from sugar cane molasses and is a three year old rum.<br>It is distilled by the double firing method in small copper stills.<br>Barrique barrels, which were previously used to age the Gravensteiner Apfelbrand Caldiff with the Soleramethode, are used to store this rum.</p><p><strong>Awards:</strong><br>GOLD at the World Spirits Award 2020<br>GOLD at the Bartender Spirits Awards 2020</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Dark gold.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>fruity, spicy, smoky, notes of star anise, cinnamon, wood.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Aromatic, round, full-bodied, notes of vanilla, malt, molasses.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, bitter almond, notes of plums, raisins, dates.</p>
