<p>Only sugar cane from southern Louisiana is&nbsp;used to&nbsp;produce Bayou Rum.<br>The sugar cane is&nbsp;pressed in&nbsp;the oldest mill in&nbsp;the USA.<br>The molasses is&nbsp;distilled in&nbsp;copper pot stills and stored mainly in&nbsp;Bourbon barrels, using the Solera process.</p><p>Bayou Reserve Rum is&nbsp;aged for 3 years in&nbsp;Bourbon barrels using the Solera process.</p><p><strong>Awards:</strong><br>Silver in&nbsp;2019 at&nbsp;the World Spirits Competition in&nbsp;San Francisco</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>creamy vanilla, apples, cinnamon.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Dried oak, bourbon, cinnamon, maple.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long finish, dark fruit.</p>
